Regis Home Care Agreement bargaining update

Posted on 5 June 2024 in Aged Care

We met with Regis management for the second bargaining meeting today, and they provided us with a preliminary response to your log of claims. Unfortunately, they have rejected some of your claims, citing that they are already covered in policy.

Here's what we've achieved so far:

•  20 days paid family and domestic violence leave
•  Travel allowance 96c per kilometre
•  Public holiday penalty increased to double time and half Sunday penalty increased to double time

The next meeting is scheduled for 21 June, and we expect a response to the wages offer and our claim for backpay.

The more members we have, the stronger we are when we’re bargaining. If you know a colleague who has not yet joined HACSU, let them know that becoming a member is now as simple as a few clicks here: join.hacsu.org.au

If you have any questions or need more information, please get in touch with us on 1300 880 032 or at [email protected].

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email [email protected] or complete our online contact form
