Ambulance members endorse new EBA

Ambulance

As members are aware, we have conducted a ballot over the past week on the government's offer to settle our wages and conditions claims.

The ballot closed at 4:00pm this afternoon with an overwhelming 87% of members voting in favour of the offer.

This offer is a significant improvement on the previous one made by the government and ends months of negotiations and industrial action.

There is no doubt that the improvements we were able to make were a direct result of the pressure members put on the government throughout the industrial action.

This afternoon, we will advise the government of the acceptance of this offer and seek that progressing a formal agreement through the Industrial Commission becomes a priority.

We will keep you informed of progress regarding the drafting, Industrial Commission registration, timelines for backpay and associated matters as soon as we have the details.

For further information, please contact your Regional HACSU Executive Member or contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email [email protected] or complete our online contact form
