We’re inviting HACSU members and supporters to join us this Saturday 2 May to celebrate May Day with the traditional march through the city.
May Day holds special significance as International Workers' Day, a time to honour the tireless efforts of workers and their unions in creating better and fairer workplaces and communities for us all. This is an inclusive, family-friendly event for the whole union family.
On the day, we’ll get together behind the CPSU office on Victoria Street (look out for the HACSU flags) and march loud and proud around the CBD. After the parade, there’ll be a free BBQ, and plenty of free and fun activities for the kids, including games, balloon artistry, face painting, and much more!
Here are all the details you need to know:
When: Saturday 2 May – 11.30am begin to assemble for a strict 12pm march kick-off
Where: Victoria St (behind the CPSU office), Hobart
RSVP: https://fb.me/e/7umMHNhjI
Let’s make it a huge day of unity, fun, and celebration. We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
