Disability Workers Week 2024

We're celebrating our annual Disability Workers Week!

We’ll be travelling around the state from 1–7 December to say thanks for everything disability workers do for our communities and our loved ones.

Disability workers do vital work to support people with a disability and we think there needs to be more public awareness about just how crucial their services are.

Our Disability Workers Week is a massive week of events where HACSU members get the chance to see us at their work, grab some free goodies and win prizes on our DWW scratchies!

Our main prizes* are $600, $300 and $150 in your choice of Coles or Woolies gift cards. On top of that, there will be multiple $50 gift cards up for grabs, as well as a second chance draw of $300 in gift cards.

We’ll also be hosting free BBQs across the state for you and your participants to come along to:

*Terms and conditions: 1. This competition is open only to financial members of HACSU employed in the disability services sector. 2. All prizes shall be given as gift cards. Gift cards shall be the winner’s choice of Woolworths or Coles Myer & are not redeemable for cash. 3. The prizes are as follows: First Prize: $600, Second Prize: $300, Third Prize: $150, $50 Prize: $50, second chance draw: $300. 4. Winners’ images may be used by HACSU for promotional purposes. 5. HACSU employees, officials and their immediate family members are ineligible to enter. 6. Second chance draw will be randomly drawn on 19 December 2024 by an elected official.
