Zoom meeting how-to

It's quick and easy.

We’ve been organising many video meetings with delegates and members via Zoom, which is the new norm in many worksites until the restrictions are changed.
These meetings are a great chance to discuss any workplace issues or concerns and they’re a way for us to update members on the latest news in the public sector.
Using Zoom is really easy but if the instructions below aren’t helpful please contact us and we’ll run through the process.

USING ZOOM: You don’t need to create a Zoom account, just need to install the free app, and then there are two ways to join a meeting on your phone:

  1. Click the meeting link we send, which should automatically open up Zoom on your phone if you have it installed, and if not it will prompt you to install it. Then enter the password we also sent.
  2. If we’ve sent you a meeting ID number and a password just open the Zoom app on your device and press the ‘Join Meeting’ button, enter the ID number, click ‘Join’ then enter the password. You’ll need to have the Zoom app already installed.
