Ensure your vote is counted.

You should now have your ballot from the Australian Electoral Commission to vote on the next phase of our campaign – protected industrial action - to protect your working conditions at Southern Cross Care.

We strongly recommend you vote YES to all questions on potential bans that could be put in place if SCC refuse to come back to the negotiation table and insist on taking away your current entitlements.

You need to post your ballot back in the provided envelope as soon as possible to ensure your vote is counted.

If you haven’t received your ballot, you need to call the AEC on 03 9285 7111 urgently. You need to call today to ensure that you’ll have time to receive your ballot and post it back before the vote closes at 10am on Wednesday 19 January.

To make sure your vote counts, you need to send it back no later than Friday 14 January. For the ballot to be successful, more than 50% of members must vote on time and the majority must support each of the bans listed.

So please cast your vote and post it back ASAP. If you have any questions, call HACSUassist on 1300 880 032.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
