At the last Joint Unions and Management Industrial Committee (JUMIC) meeting we were provided with a briefing on the “stacking” arrangements for A Block.
The plan is set out over the next few years up to 2025 and the initial stage concentrates on the ground floor (Holman Clinic) up to 4A (Endoscopy).
The next stage is to move wards to temporary locations while works are underway in the ward and on the facade of the building, and there will be new works on Pharmacy.
The final stage works on wards located on levels 5 to 10 including the relocation of the Older Persons Unit.
We’ll continue to monitor the new works and seek briefings from the various NUMs and via JUMIC.
