We’re holding three joint union meetings

Yesterday we finally got a response from the government about their shock announcement late last month to scuttle the Department of Communities, but it said nothing while referring to the State Service Review and implying the process is already underway.

We must talk about how to resist this move until we have all the info about why it’s a good idea and how it’ll improve services because vulnerable Tasmanians and the workers who support them deserve to know.

We’re holding three joint union Teams meetings with our comrades at the CPSU next week to have a chat so please jump on one if you can.

Wednesday6 April 10.30 - 11.30am Click here to join the meeting

Thursday7 April 9.30 -10.30am Click here to join the meeting

We’ll be doing site visits in all the regions the following week too, so keep an eye out for further information about that. We must stick up for proper community services for Tasmanians!
