It's time to fix health!

Delegates met today to implement the next stage of authorised industrial action. Here’s what we’re planning:

Delegates in the RHH will begin to distribute HACSU branded materials for you to wear everyday you’re at work – if you haven’t got a badge or lanyard yet, please let us know.

A5 size flyers calling for action will also be distributed to the public from today – please see your delegate as more are on the way.

We will be holding authorised stop work meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Tuesday 22 November at 11am.

Each work area has been assigned a time to take stop work action on the corner of Argyle and Liverpool St for 15 minutes starting at 11am. Your delegate will have more information on this. The entirety of the action goes from 11am to 1.15pm each day. If you can’t get there at your assigned time, you can attend with any group at any time in that bracket. All HACSU members are authorised to attend the action.

There will be spot actions for worksites outside the CBD/RHH area so keep an eye out for site specific emails coming soon.

It is vital that you attend on both Tuesday and Thursday for your 15-minute action. This is your chance to say to the government you’ve had enough. It’s time to fix health!

See you at the stop work action.
