They say there will be no changes.

We’re aware that the new St Michaels Disability Services Manager, Carolyn Martens, has sent an email to staff saying that there would be a review and then changes to the current master roster, and new rosters are due to start on 16 April.

We wrote to Anne-Louise Young recently enquiring about the roster changes and reminded her that any major changes to rosters require proper consultation with affected staff and that four weeks’ notice is needed according to your current agreement, and she has replied to say there will be no change affecting staff members’ rosters, but it seems Carolyn’s wording has caused some confusion.

Here’s her response: "I spoke with Carolyn about this on Friday. The wording she used in her email to team members gave the wrong impression which she apologises for. There is going to be no change to our team members hours or days of work. The changes relate to a review of participant groupings. Should there be any future changes to hours etc (outside of client cancellations obviously), Carolyn will ensure our team members are afforded proper consultation."

If you have more questions about any major changes to your roster, please speak to rostering in the first instance. If you don’t feel your questions are answered, give HACSUassist a call on 1300 880 032 to chat about them.
