We’re happy to let you know that over the past few weeks HACSU and St Giles management have worked towards an agreed position regarding your Support Services EBA.
As you know, you voted on the agreement back in March 2021 but unfortunately that wasn’t then submitted to Fair Work for approval.
When you voted, the wage increase was to come into effect from the first pay period after approval of the agreement, which we estimate would’ve been 19 April 2021, so St Giles have agreed to back pay the 3% wage increase from that date.
In coming weeks you’ll receive a Notice of Employee Representative Rights that will tell you when the EBA will be put back out to vote.
We expect this to be within two or three weeks, and we encourage you to vote when this process begins.
