Southern Cross Care living in the stone age

Earlier in the week, we told SCC workers that we’d be meeting with management at SCC on Monday, but yesterday they wrote to us to say they want to cancel the bargaining meeting.

It might be okay to cancel if they were to confirm a proper pay rise for this year, considering if we try and bargain via letters it will take even longer. They need to stop dangling this carrot and just pay it.

We’ll keep you in the loop and will be getting in touch next week to get your thoughts.

This is ridiculous. Other workplaces are still bargaining, and surely SCC have heard of Zoom, video conference or Skype?
