How we can stop the cuts.

As we move into winter, SCC’s plan to cut your take-home pay is getting a chilly reception.

Removing your paid meal breaks means cutting your take-home pay – by up to 6.5%or $2400 for some workers – and forcing you to work more hours to earn it back.

Meanwhile, non-shift workers are left with a paltry 1.5% wage offer. It is a real wage cut once inflation is taken into account.

Enough is enough. SCC need to listen to the Aged Care Royal Commission and offer real wage rises – not wage cuts.

We need to make SCC listen to reason.

Organisers will be visiting your facility next week with a petition calling on SCC to drop the cuts. If they don’t, we will need to be united to stop them. We’ve done it before and we can do it again.

Keep an eye out for your local organiser, and feel free to contact us through HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or assist@hacsu.org.au
