Here’s what you need to do

You should have received a text message or email from CiVS by now with details on how to vote online to take protected industrial action to protect your working conditions.

If you haven’t got that information, it could be because your phone number and email details are incorrect on the CiVS system. To ensure you get your chance to vote, you need to contact the CiVS Helpline on (08) 6314 0580 and tell them you are a voter in the Southern Cross Care Tasmania Protected Action Ballot.

CiVS will verify your identity and send the ballot info to your correct number or email.

Last time we only just missed out due to a few issues with slow postal services, and this time it’s simpler as you can vote on your phone.

Remember the online ballot closes at 2pm on Thursday 24 February. Please make sure you vote before then and vote yes so that we can continue to fight for a fair deal for all.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
