Today while we were at Roy Fagan, we were asked to attend a joint union meeting with our ANMF brothers and sisters – we’re more than happy to work together to fight for improvements for all union members.
The meeting is, in part, to talk about an additional penalty for working with assaultive patients.
It’s a good idea and we’re glad to hear that the ANMF are coming on board to support the HACSU claim in the current PSUWA negotiations for an allowance for all staff trained in crisis intervention techniques. We presented the claim to the government negotiators 3 months ago.
See you at 11am on Tuesday 29 November to talk about it more!
