Last week we met with the Richmond Group representatives and started negotiating for your new workplace agreement that will cover workers at both Richmond Fellowship and Richmond Futures.

We ran them through our log of claims - your wish list - for your new agreement and they’ll consider this and get back to us at the next meeting.

They also gave us their log of claims, the main purpose of which is to cover workers at both entities by one agreement, and said they prefer a 4-year agreement - whether this is acceptable will perhaps largely depend on their pay offer.

Bargaining meetings will be held once every fortnight with the next one scheduled for Thursday 12 August and we’ll update you on the progress after that.
