It’s about time we gave you an update on where things are at around your rosters. As you are aware, a roster committee has been meeting regularly, until a recent delay, trying to develop a new roster or roster options for you.
Your HACSU reps on the committee have asked for there to be several drafted options so you can choose the preferred roster that accommodates you as much as possible.
Unfortunately, the meetings have not been held recently and there has been a delay. We can now confirm that the next meeting will be on Tuesday 26 July, after which there will be staff meetings to look at where the committee has gotten to and seek your feedback. We’re looking forward to talking to you at these meetings.
In the meantime, the status quo remains as agreed to, and we’ll make it clear that it is still management’s responsibility to confirm this arrangement and not leave it to the last minute as they did this week. Thank you for your patience, but we’re sure you’re aware it does take time to develop these rosters, and we want to make sure we get the best possible roster in place for you.
