Regis want to cut your take home pay

A lion in sheep's clothing.

Regis have been hiding for many months, refusing tonegotiate while refusing to hand over the $35 million owed to staff.

Now, out of the blue, they want to push out to a vote on your EBA and have sent you a letter that makes things sound peachy, but if you look deeper it's clearly not the case.

REGIS want to cut night shift penalties from 20% DOWN TO 18.75% and afternoon shift from 15% DOWN TO 12.5% while trying to tell you you’ll still be better off – but losing shift penalties is losing pay every day of the week!

They also want to create an early afternoon shift starting between 10am and 12noon and only pay a 10% penalty, which will eat into your afternoon penalty rate, again causing you to lose pay.

Reduce nurses’ public holiday penalties from 225% DOWN TO200% and try to say you’ll be better off!

Don’t be fooled by the REGIS lion in sheep’s clothing - reducing penalty rates means reducing your take home pay.

The pay increases they offer that are loaded for the first 12 months might seem ok, but the projected CPI wage increase will see wages of that amount being forced upon them anyway.

We will be taking REGIS to the Fair Work Commission for failing to bargain in good faith if they don’t come back to the table to negotiate.

It's time to stand up and be counted, so if you know someone who isn’t a HACSU member tell them to join because a strong united front is the only way to stand up to these type of cuts.
