We recently attended a Commission hearing at Fair Work where the Commissioner unfortunately decided that the Foul & Nauseous Linen (FNL) allowance will only be paid on each occasion that staff handle FNL. The Commissioner also directed that the claim process should be simple so workers can access it easily.
We engaged with QVC this week to come up with a streamlined and simple process for claiming the allowance. QVC have agreed that there will be an online form via a hyperlink or a QR code so QVC workers can enter the times FNL is handled on shift.
We’ll hold QVC to paying staff the allowance correctly.
