Over the last few weeks, we’ve been meeting with government negotiators every couple of days to try to broker an agreement that delivers for you. We’ll be meeting with them again today and tomorrow as we try and finalise an offer that you can consider.
We’re also getting together at meetings across the state with members on Thursday and Friday so you can hear what the government will be offering as a part of the deal.
Whether you’re an environmental service officer, an allied health professional, a clerk, or a driver, you need to come and hear for yourself what the offer will provide. We’ll have more details about the offers out to you on Thursday morning, but it’s equally important to get to a meeting and make sure your voice is heard.
Meetings are in Burnie and Latrobe on Thursday and in Launceston and Hobart on Friday. Here’s some further details if you would like to attend:
• North West Regional Hospital – 1 December – 10am – Courtyard near the canteen
• Mersey Community Hospital – 1 December – 12pm – Level 2 classroom
• Launceston General Hospital – 2 December – 10am – Ockerby Gardens
• Royal Hobart Hospital – 2 December – 2pm – Keith Milligen Theatre
It’s time for you to see what the government has to offer to fix some of the problems we’ve been dealing with for years.
