We’ve been contacted by staff concerned about the implications of the proposed MCT and Respect merger.
      
Disappointingly, MCT management have seen fit to email staff telling them about the merger but haven't contacted HACSU.
      
We’ve asked for an urgent meeting with MCT CEO Jacki Howard to get more information about the proposed merger for you. As with any major change of this magnitude, we need to make sure all workers’ entitlements are secure moving forward.
      
We’ve seen too often that there can be important information buried in the detail, but rest assured HACSU will work to get all the answers about this potential merger.
