Workload is unmanageable.

We know Ian has been meeting with staff, including with the Lodge today, to talk about issues on the floor.

We contacted him earlier the week and offered to work through some of these issues as it’s clear that workload is totally unmanageable.

Unfortunately, all we’ve heard since then is crickets, so we're taking it up the tree to the CEO to get answers.

If there's a meeting coming up be sure to raise any ideas about how to address workload and take notes then send the notes through to us so we can use that with the CEO.

It’s also important that we point out this is hurting resident care as much as anything and they need to stop blaming staff for problems beyond their control.

It's crucial that members speak to us about the problems so we can all be on the same page - there is strength in numbers!

While Odette isn’t on deck at the moment, and there are some access issues with COVID-19 restrictions, we're still here to help.

We will also need members' help with evidence to take to the CEO, and will be in touch on that soon.
