You might have seen an update from OneCare about your pay rise due 1 July, after we said that a pay-rise needed to happen, as due, on 1 July 2021 at our last bargaining negotiation.
We’ve claimed that should be 4.5% for every year of the new agreement. While negotiations are ongoing, OneCare have decided that they'll pass on a good faith pay rise of 2%.
Make no mistake, this pay-rise happened because you made it happen. We asked OneCare, who didn’t have a position at the time, to take it to the Board so it could be passed on when due.
We didn’t want to see a repeat of the nurses agreement where full backpay wasn’t offered.
