OneCare told us they were putting their proposed general staff agreement to a vote at yesterday’s meeting. As previously outlined, they’ve changed their wage offer and made the agreement shorter. OneCare summarise the new pay offer as:
The 1 July 2021 pay will be an increase of 2.5% on current wage rates. 2% has already been passed on with 0.5% to be back paid.
The 1 July 2022 pay will be:
3% on current wage rates for Administration and Home Care (noting their current above modern award wage rate); and
4% on current wage rates for all other General employees.
So they are still insisting that Home Care and Admin staff get a 3% pay rise while other general staff will get 4%.
If you need a reminder, here’s what else is on offer:
They have also dropped their claim to claw back parental leave and Fair Work Aged Care Work Value wage offsets. The access period for their proposed agreement opens on Tuesday 5 July, and voting will start on 14 July, closing on 25 July. Voting will be online through a private provider.
