Requests to use your recreational leave are not on

We're sure you are aware the Cam River Bridge works if you're in the North West. They're causing significant delays and disruption for all residents who need to use it as part of their daily commute to and from work.

It has been brought to our attention that management may be asking some workers to use recreational leave if you have been late for work as a consequence of the bridge works.

This situation is completely out of your control and such requests are unreasonable.

We've written to HR to seek clarification about concerns some of you are experiencing and will be in touch as soon as we have a response.

We would love to hear from anyone being asked to use their own leave, or if you are experiencing any other concerns around the Cam River bridge work delays.
