We’ve written to your employer about the following concerns raised by many workers this week:
- There is a lack of communication from management. Staff feel they are completely in the dark with no information about any COVID plan at Lillian Martin.
- Workers also feel abandoned because there have been resignations in management, which is compounding their fears and concerns at a stressful time with COVID.
- Staff are unsure where to keep plastic shields that must be cleaned, named, and stored in plastic bags for reuse.
- Since PPE is being locked up, when staff run out, they use disposable masks and get into trouble. This is of major concern to everyone, especially when Lillian Martin has a positive resident.
