Poor communication and much more

We’ve written to your employer about the following concerns raised by many workers this week:

  • There is a lack of communication from management. Staff feel they are completely in the dark with no information about any COVID plan at Lillian Martin.
  • Workers also feel abandoned because there have been resignations in management, which is compounding their fears and concerns at a stressful time with COVID.
  • Staff are unsure where to keep plastic shields that must be cleaned, named, and stored in plastic bags for reuse.
  • Since PPE is being locked up, when staff run out, they use disposable masks and get into trouble. This is of major concern to everyone, especially when Lillian Martin has a positive resident.

We’ll let you know once we hear back from management, and we’ll keep you up to date as we pursue these issues. If you have more questions in the meantime, please get in touch with HACSUassist.
