New screens thanks to members.

Ever since COVID first appeared, HACSU members have been campaigning for protective screens to protect workers throughout the LGH.

Cameron Mathews and his works team have been very obliging as we’ve tried to set up protections for members through the hospital.

After raising the lack of screens in the caf, we're happy to announce that there will soon be perspex screens installed in areas where the layout prevents physical distancing.

With more visitors coming to the hospital, the screens combined with new touchless EFTPOS terminals will make the cafeteria a much safer environment for both patrons and staff.

Congratulations to everyone who spoke up about the screens.

If you would like more information or if you know of an area that still needs screens, please contact me at HACSUassist on assist@hacsu.org.auor 1300 880 032 Monday to Friday.
