LEAP training modules

When’s the best time to do them?

We heard from workers recently that although you are asked to do the training modules in work time, which is great, some are having difficulty completing them because of clients’ behaviours or needs.

Obviously, the best scenario is to be able to complete any training modules in work time when you have particular clients that are easy to manage so it won’t interfere with your home life. But what happens if your client has a few more behavioural issues or is a little more active and requires your full attention for the entire shift?

In this instance, it might be best to be able to choose to do the modules at home and still be paid.

We could put this idea to Leap to see if it can be a solution, but we’d like to make sure this is what members want.

Are you struggling to get through your training modules during work time so would be willing to complete them at home and get paid for it?

If so, let us know by calling 1300 880 032 so we can see if this is a collective issue that we may need to discuss with Leap.
