Yes, the HRC agreement was voted up.

We know many employees are as disappointed as we are - less than half of HRC's workers voted, which is a worry because if anyone disagreed and didn’t vote their voice wasn’t heard, and the results of the ballot were 61 yes votes and 47 no votes.

Now the agreement will be sent to the Fair Work Commission for approval - which can take a little time but once it's approved we’ll let you know - and staff will stay on their current agreement until the new one's approved.

The new agreement includes a wage rise of 3% for Franklin and Dover workers and 2% for Tasman.

We thank all members who helped in any way during the 12-month campaign trying to improve or maintain working conditions by wobble boarding, attending a BBQ or letterboxing the community - their commitment and solidarity was fantastic.
