Housing: Working from home requests

Have you put in a request to work from home? Have you been refused?

There are a growing number of people who are now working from home. As the Prime Minister has asked: if you can work from home, then you should.

This is particularly important for:

  • Those who are immunocompromised or who have other health issues
  • Those with school-aged children now at home
  • Older workers (60+ years old)

We’ve heard of public sector employees being refused work-from-home requests on very flimsy grounds. No one needs the added burden of not being able to access a good working environment at the moment.
