They tried to explain their proposal to address some of the workload concerns raised by cleaning and laundry staff.
We said we wouldn’t comment on any changes until a draft proposal is written and staff have been consulted on any proposed changes.
Nick said he’d draw up the draft proposal and send it around to all staff concerned for feedback, in the hope that staff and management can come up with a solution to the workload problems, so once he sends this out members need to provide that feedback.
This is he chance to try and come to a compromise around the workload situation.
What's happening now just isn’t working, and staff can’t continue on this way, so let’s have a look at what they’re offering and see what will and won’t work.
Hopefully we can find some common ground and a solution.
