We hope members are well - COVID-19 means it may be some time until we get to see them in person.

In the disability sector it can be hard for organisers to meet up with members given all the different places they work – some in residential, some in communities, some doing community and others in day support centres.

Having a go-to person like a union delegate or an activist in a workplace helps us keep on top of what’s happening, especially now with the virus and its many issues, so if any member wants to put their name forward to be a delegate or activist or want more info please contact us.

Remember, members are the union, and becoming a delegate or activist means the workplace is more involved, more connected, and makes it easier for us to be of help.

For more information about this or any other industrial matter, members should contact HACSUassist on 1300 880 032 or email assist@hacsu.org.au or complete our online contact form
