Federal and state governments continue to ignore and undervalue disability and community services when it comes to issues associated with this pandemic.
 
People with disability, service providers and support workers cannot face the Omicron wave alone. The sector needs urgent support from the Commonwealth Government so essential services can continue and be delivered safely.
 
We are heading to Canberra next week along with other unions to tell politicians directly that we need urgent action on: 

• Free access to RATs and full PPE

• Paid isolation leave

• Incentive payments like the payments aged care workers are getting
