Devonfield smoking policy

Still being sorted.

Tanya Kingshott wrote several memos last year to staff about the new smoking policy at Devonfield, but since no one has ever seen a copy of that policy, and Tanya is no longer around to further discuss the matter, we’ve written to the Acting CEO Matthew Gaffney and asked if they could provide us with a copy of the policy to give to workers.

Matthew has written back saying that Devonfield does not have a current smoking policy in writing, and he also said, "We are currently working on a policy as it has been bought to our attention that we don’t have one so we can put out to all staff".

We've said to Matthew that once a draft copy has been completed, he is more than welcome to send it to HACSU so we can take a look at it and offer any member feedback before it's implemented within the workplace. If you have any suggestions on what a no smoking policy may look like, please feel free to let us know so we can compare them to Devonfield’s draft policy and then put forward those suggestions where needed be.
