Dragging you to the minimum.

You may have seen some minions on our facebook page who’ve been helping us spread the word about the cuts Regis want to make to your pay and conditions in their new proposed agreement.

While their annual revenue grows towards 1 billion dollars and they continue to pay out big dividends to shareholders, it’s workers who are losing out.

With big cuts to your pay on the line we demanded to meet with Regis to help them see reason and, after much foot-dragging, they finally agreed to come to the table this Friday.

We’ll be telling them workers need to be going forwards not backwards - after all, the CEO gets paid $729 000 a year, so surely staff deserve their fair share.

The pay-offer from Regis is 5% for everyone but RNs, so with today’s Fair Work Commission minimum wage rise of 5.2% this means you'll be on minimum award wages at Regis by next year.

Remember, the 5% increase from Regis would just be a one-off. After that you get only 2.5%. It’s clear they want to take you back to the award, the legal minimum. They just don’t want to fess up to it!

Regis need to stop playing games and sort out a decent offer, keep an eye out for more updates (and minions) as we keep the pressure on!
