Still no commitment

HACSU has been writing back and forth to Anglicare to try to finalise what is going to happen with Curraghmore and its future funding.

We’ve also met with Deputy Premier Jeremy Rockcliffe twice in the hope of trying to secure more sustainable funding.

As we're now getting close to the end of the year, we've again reached out to Anglicare to see if they have any more news about where things are at.

Anglicare’s HR Angela Darcy replied:

"We have not received any communications that there has been a commitment to further funding at this stage, however we are hopeful this occurs. If this does not occur, we will look at redeployment options for those employees affected."

We’ll let you know as soon as possible if we have an update and if you hear anything or are offered redeployment elsewhere, please give us a call to talk about your options.
