We requested detail about workplace health and safety protections, changes to operations (such as community/day support arrangements) and the leave policy if you get sick or have to care for someone who does.
Unlike most major employers, it has been total crickets from Anglicare. This is a real worry and so are the reports we’re starting to hear about issues popping up at certain worksites.
We want to work with employers where we can to try and protect you as you continue to support some of our communities most vulnerable people. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Anglicare want to play ball as this stage.
We’ve followed them up and if we don’t get answers from them soon, we will have to take things further.
