We’ve been negotiating with CRS behind the scenes about their sleepover error.
If you've been rostered on sleepover shifts that are longer than 8 hours you should receive a letter from Dee soon, if not already, letting you know you’ve been identified as being impacted by the claim of underpayment.
You'll then be provided with a breakdown of the relevant shifts and rates.
If you've kept records of your own, it'd be best to start compiling them so you can check them against the CRS findings and raise any differences you may find.
Both HACSU and CRS hope to have the backpay sorted before the end of the year, which will be a nice Christmas bonus for some staff.
