Your workplace agreement is clear that your sleepover shifts consist of 8 hours.
However, several workers at Coast Residential Service contacted us recently saying that they’ve been rostered to do 8 and a half hour sleepovers and, in some instances, up to 9 hours.
If this is the case, then you should be entitled to backpay for the extra time worked.
