Saying there are no resources is an unacceptable excuse for doing nothing and ignores the legal responsibilities of the employer.
Heritage listing creates difficulties when things need fixing or replacing but it’s frustrating that you continue working in an inappropriate space, and safety must be addressed by doing everything that’s reasonably practicable.
Your managers refusal to give you an appropriate timeline about when these safety issues will be addressed shows a total lack of respect as well as not complying with the consultation section (s.47) of the WHS Act.
