How are members doing?

We just want to check in with members and see how they're doing since life got so crazy because we know that working in the community can seem a lonely place at times.

Some employers have limited their services, changed their hours, shut down for several weeks or in some cases indefinitely – and some have come up with an entirely new way of delivering their services.

With things moving so quickly that it’s often difficult to keep up with all the changes, we’ve made sure to keep a steady source of up-to-date information available to members.

Information about the health, aged care, disability and community services sector is changing regularly and one way of keeping up is to check out our HACSU website and Facebook page.

These are updated on a regular basis so staff can keep in touch with what’s going on in their workplace or workplaces similar to theirs.

Members can also keep in touch by contacting HACSUassist or talking to their workplace organiser.
