Calvary adds insult to injury

Wages at Sandhill and Riverside Views

We are very disappointed to learn that not only have staff at Calvary not received their outstanding wages from December, as Calvary promised would be paid this week, but that this pay cycle also had errors and underpayments.

All these botched pays and broken promises have meant Maxxia details and your tax liabilities are now totally out of whack.

This is unacceptable. It was hard enough to get Calvary to agree to sort things out by this week and making an error like this after staff have been waiting all that time is adding insult to injury.

We’ve taken this up the tree to Calvary’s national head of HR.

If they can’t or won’t get it sorted, we'll have a member meeting next week to decide how to escalate our action. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page in the meantime – we will be publicising these underpayments. The more eyes on Calvary, the more pressure there’ll be to get it sorted.
