Are members happy with that?

Bupa has come to us with a proposition for members to consider - they're proposing a variation of the staff agreement that would mean bargaining would be deferred for 12 months but there'd be guaranteed a wage rise - a 'variation' means there'd be no cuts to current working conditions.

They are proposing a 3% wage increase in July 2020 and again in July 2021. Some allowances would increase by 3% and others would increase by CPI as is the current practice. The undertakings would also be included in the agreement.

In the current climate 3% is a very good offer, but at the end of the day it’s members' decision to make, so it’s important they complete this survey so we can pass on feedback to the employer - the survey will only take a few seconds.
