We need members' feedback!

The federal government is looking to regulate the aged care workforce and this clearly will have ramifications for workers.

It could see huge changes to:

  • How workers are registered, including things like a ‘naughty or nice’ for aged care workers
  • How criminal or disciplinary history can impact on employment
  • New codes of conduct
  • Minimum qualifications
  • Profession accreditation and development

For better or worse, the proposals could see the industry and profession changed for years to come so we want to make sure they get it right.

To do this we want to draw on the help and knowledge of our members before providing feedback to the government, so please click here to take part in our survey, the more responses the better we can reflect what happens on the ground.

The survey closes tomorrow, 3 July 2020, so get in fast!
