We need feedback ASAP!

The federal government is looking to regulate the aged care workforce and this could see huge changes to:

  • How workers are registered, including things like a ‘naughty or nice’ for aged care workers
  • How criminal or disciplinary history can impact a worker's employment
  • New codes of conduct
  • Minimum qualifications
  • Profession accreditation and development

For better or worse, the proposals could see the industry and profession changed for years to come. so we want to make sure that they get it right.

We need aged care workers' and knowledge to form part out feedback to the government. and they can click here to take part in our survey, the more responses the better we can reflect what happens on the ground.

The government has set a tight time frame for response, so the survey closes 3 July 2020. Get in fast!
