Beaconsfield change proposal

Concerns and responses.

With the impending rollout of the change to the Director of Nursing structure, we were out and about recently to see if you had any concerns about this, and we’ve now been advised THS will be progressing the changes to the management structure within Tamar Health as proposed.
We raised your concerns and received the following responses to share with you:

  • The process of recruitment to the Director of Nursing positions at Beaconsfield and George Town will commence immediately. It’s envisaged these will be advertised in late August and workers will be updated on the recruitment processes as they occur.
  • A simultaneous process will formally abolish the position of Coordinator Support Services Operations. It is expected the position will be abolished by the end of August 2021.
  • Amendments to the statements of duties for Administrative Assistants at each of the sites will be undertaken during September 2021.
  • There should be no change to current arrangements for staff who work between both sites. Workers will report through to individual supervisors based at each site. Workers who reported directly to the Coordinator Support Services Operations position will report directly to the Director of Nursing at each site as per the     change proposal.
