We’re aware that you have been told to wait until the CEO returns to work before any annual leave will be approved, and that there would be no swapping of shifts.
This is totally outrageous and unreasonable.
We wrote to your employer yesterday and requested that shift swaps be approved in a timely manner. We’ve also pointed out that denying annual leave is in clear breach of your enterprise agreement.
If MOHS refuse to rectify these issues, we anticipate lodging a dispute at the Fair Work Commission. You can read the letter we wrote to MOHS here.
