Last week we went to 14 staff roster proposal meetings with members in the south and Anglicare’s HR team. Whilst they explained the reasons why they need to go through this complicated process, we do understand that it can be a stressful time for you.
At the meetings, we went through Fair Work’s requirement of the roster principles and talked about the potential options including a “solution type roster”. The purpose of the solution type roster is to address clients’ levels of support and to fit in with your current pattern of work as much as possible with minimal disruption to you and your family moving forward.
It is extremely important that you send your proposed new roster (that meets the requirements of the roster principles) to email@example.com
The deadline for each residential team is either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday this week as outlined in the meetings.
We want to make sure that you’ve had your input into what your rosters may look like in the future. If you don’t do this now, your employer will assume you are happy to accept their arrangement.
