After many discussions with allied and other health professionals about your draft log of claims, we have revised our wages claim to reflect the recent CPI figures and the ever-increasing cost of living. You said loud and clear that 4% was not enough. You can look at the revised claim here.

We have also taken on your feedback that additional leave is important. And we’ll be working to ensure all our public health members, including those working in policy-, advice- and legislation-focussed areas, are not unintentionally left out during negotiations and by the definition of allied and other health professionals in the future.

Our claim is the starting point for negotiations. We can make further or additional claims as we negotiate, and generally issues develop as part of the discussions. Overwhelmingly, the feedback has been positive, and we look forward to finalising the endorsement of our claims and starting negotiations really soon.
